Happy Residents on Lincoln Hill

Location: San Rafael, California

Description: Beautiful aesthetic imprints plus the benefit of SoundSorb's sound-absorbing technology have created happy residents on Lincoln Hill. Some even had blankets covering their windows before the noise abatement project began, but now they're able to remove them as the traffic noise from Highway 101 is much more subdued thanks to SoundSorb.

Retrofit with Tiles Save Money

Location: San Rafael, California

Description: Existing reflective soundwalls on Highway 101 were retrofit with 2x2 SoundSorb tiles, saving the cost of removing those original walls and replacing them with complete soundwalls.

Graphic Art Adds Aesthetic Touch

Location: San Rafael, California

Description: Nine different murals decorate this large soundwall project that had the neighbors celebrating over the decrease in traffic noise, thanks to SoundSorb.

Expansion Joints Quell Bridge Noise

Location: Tacoma, Washington

Description: An artistic use of SoundSorb cladding with a mountain design has greatly reduced the "zipper" sound of cars driving across the Narrows bridge. By utilizing SoundSorb in a random edged treatment, creating peaks, improved noise abatement was attained. two-by-two feet panels of SoundSorb were even retrofitted to the crash barriers, as well as to the wall along the bridge.
